Atiba Chance, better known as “OhXone”, pronounced as “Ozone”, is an eclectic Trinbagonian Soca Artist, filmmaker and international songwriter, actively contributing to numerous genres such as: Hip Hop, Trap, Afrobeat, Dancehall, and Pop, with energetic Caribbean-style music curations and collaborations, amongst which are notable figures like: Crazy, Preedy, Lady Lava, King Bubba and Dancehall Legend, Vybz Kartel on the track “Vices”.
OhXone started his filmmaking visual career at the Digital Film Institute in 2014 graduating with a certificate in Filmmaking, where he got the opportunity to study and work. He concurrently worked on a feature length film under international directors and camera men, whilst managing the sound department, and working in the editing and special effects department. His experience and expertise is heavily utilized, as it appears on Caribbean singles, riddims and playlists through numerous artist music videos, artwork, promotional and commercial materials, and animation; especially in his own musical work.
He has been featured for his Soca contributions locally, regionally and internationally, having executed highlighted performances for the diplomatic corps of Trinidad and Tobago, and regional and international Cultural Ambassadors; solely representing the country and its culture at high-end events and cultural forums.
OhXone is internationally known for his songwriting; having written songs and jingles for the international production company, Shutdown Music Production. He has independently penned and co-written tracks for various Caribbean artists, ranging from Kes and Nailah Blackman’s “Workout” to Lil Bits’ “Automatic” and has also had his songwriting win Soca Monarch titles and trophies in the Caribbean Region for example: Guyana, Antigua, Grenada etc. He is also a part of an international writing team, which has written for the likes of: Machel Montano, Alison Hinds, Farmer Nappy, Iwer George, Bunji Garlin, Kes, Nailah Blackman, Lady Lava, Patrice Roberts etc.
With a diverse musical and film portfolio; and a promising trajectory, OhXone continues to make significant strides in the world of music and entertainment industry.
