Kamella Karianne Carmino is a multidisciplinary creative, cultural innovator, and entrepreneur whose work lives at the intersection of media, education, and Caribbean expression. With a first degree in Media and Communications and advanced studies in Library and Information Science, she brings both academic depth and intuitive creativity to everything she builds.
A former librarian and youth development specialist, Kamella has spent years shaping spaces that empower learning, storytelling, and self-expression—particularly for children and families. Her creative range spans writing, music, visual arts, performance, and digital media, reflecting a lifelong commitment to imagination as a tool for transformation.
As a producer and visionary, she is the creator of Sōk-D’M, an original genre blending soca and EDM, designed to carry Caribbean energy onto global stages.
Whether developing platforms for creative education, pioneering new sounds, or building culturally rooted experiences, Kamella’s work is driven by a singular philosophy: that creativity is both our birthright and our bridge to limitless possibility.
